He serves as a Deacon at New Beginnings Bible Church and is a United States Navy veteran, having served as a Combat Information Specialist. He earned a B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Computer Science after attending Grossmont Community College and San Francisco State University. He spent over 20 years in sales and product management roles within the consumer electronics industry before retiring and moving to Kila, Montana, in 2019.
His life and service are guided by Acts 1:8, “ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." This verse reflects his commitment to being a bold and faithful witness for Christ.
Linda Setzer serves as the Treasurer and Secretary at New Beginnings Bible Church, bringing over 30 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience from school districts in Montana and California. A native of Whitefish, Linda previously served at two churches in Eureka, MT before joining our team six years ago.
Driven by her favorite verse, John 3:16, Linda is inspired by the "new beginning" found in Christ’s love. Outside of the office, she loves reading, playing card games, and working on jigsaw puzzles with her grandson.
